Practicing our Names

We had our first assembly today.  Terry Fox's brother, Fred Fox, came to our school today to teach us about Terry Fox and the Marathon of Hope.  We saw pictures documenting Terry's entire life and we learned about Terry's message - that we should set big goals for ourselves and never give up.

We had our first library class with Mme Jeanson.

We did some tearing and gluing today to decorate our names.  They look awesome!

(Tearing paper is a really good way for little writers to strengthen the muscles in their hands)
